Sometimes, when we travel, we bring our pets with us, following the rules set by airlines. But there are occasions when we can’t take our furry friends with us on the trip. In such cases, we can at least bring them to the airport if it’s one of the nine airports mentioned below that offer pet boarding services.
Denver International Airport
Club Pet Resorts, Colorado’s first luxury pet spa, is open all day, every day, so you can bring or pick up your pets whenever you need to. They have webcams, so you can check on your pets online anytime. Plus, if you’re traveling, you can park your car at the resort and take a free shuttle to and from the airport, which is only 10 minutes away.
John Glenn Columbus International Airport
Pet Palace Columbus Airport provides spacious, heated, and air-conditioned villas and suites for cats and dogs. Outdoor play areas allow pets to play and get fresh air, and staff take them out for bathroom breaks. Additionally, they offer grooming, pet daycare, health monitoring, medication administration, playtime, and special treats.
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Hillrose Pet Resort, close to the airport, has three dog areas of different sizes and various options for cats, including executive suites. You can drop off your pet without a reservation. They also have pet daycare available. Each dog area has a private indoor space with heating and cooling. They welcome exotic pets, but you need to bring your own cage and food. They offer grooming services and have a grassy play area for dogs outside. Airport workers get a 15% discount on all services.
San Francisco International Airport
The Pawington is a big pet resort near the airport, covering 23,000 square feet. It has 10 types of boarding setups, like the slumber party or the Grand Master Suite. If you’re leaving your pet for the day, there are three different areas with staff to take care of it. They also have a spa for grooming dogs and cats. Plus, you can park your car there for free.
Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
At Now Boarding, you can leave your pets, park your car, and catch a free shuttle to the airport. When you return, they’ll pick you up and take you back to your pet and car at any time of day. They offer overnight boarding, dog training, and spa treatments like grooming, massage, nail trimming, and a pet therapy pool. You can use these services even if you’re not traveling.
Chicago O’Hare International and Chicago Midway airports
Paradise 4 Paws is open 24/7 at both locations, so travelers can drop off or pick up their pets whenever they need. They offer overnight and daycare services, as well as a spa, grooming, vet care, dog training, and massage therapy. You can also park your car there. They also have locations at Dallas/Fort Worth International and Denver International airports.
Vancouver International Airport
JetPet @YVR, located near the airport and the McArthur Glen outdoor mall, provides daycare, overnight, and extended stay services for cats and dogs. They have 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including boarding areas, lounges, and spa amenities. There’s a central courtyard with toys and play equipment for dogs, and two outdoor courtyards with running space, pools, misters, and climbing frames. They’re open from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Philadelphia International Airport
The Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas, close to the airport, provides accommodations for both cats and dogs. They offer kitty condos and doggy suites for your pets. For a more luxurious experience, you can upgrade to one of their 18 plush doggy villas, which come with queen-size beds and 32-inch televisions. Your pets can enjoy group or private play sessions, or you can treat them to services at the grooming salon. If you decide to park at the pet hotel, it costs only $3.99 per day.
Jacksonville International Airport
Pet Paradise, situated on the airport premises, provides pickups and drop-offs around the clock with appointments. The facility includes webcams for you to check on your pets, indoor and outdoor suites, a synthetic grass play area, a shaded play yard, cat condos, and a bone-shaped swimming pool. Additionally, you can find Pet Paradise locations at several other airports, including Orlando International Airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Houston George Bush Intercontinental, and Houston Hobby.
